Spy in the Bin story

Basically the’ve “bugged” some 500,00 household wheelie bins so that there usage can be monitored. Apparently all bins will be bugged in the future.

WHY?

I suppose this is nothing compared to some of the issues with RFID.

Second Life on Channel 4

Filed under: Internet — Dax++ @ 7:15 pm

It was on channel 4’s programme 3 Minute Wonder.

Amazingly enough it was quite interesting :)

A chap has setup a buddist island within it called Supporting Hand that lets people come together.

I still feel people are missing out on the 100%, hi fi, super resolution game called life when they retreat to these kind of virtual worlds but I have a feeling thats more down to my lack of knowledge than anything else..
