Balance is the name of the game

After reading some of the climbing tactics at PyschoVertical I thought I’d consider tactics when I popped down to the bouldering room today.

What I’m currently pondering is how to conserve energy as I move up routes. First idea is to concentrate on what’s happening with my centre of gravity and ensure I’m not fighting it via hanging on with my fingers.

.. and I’m pretty happy with my training session. As well as my usual circuits I also managed to climb the short slab in the bouldering room with no use of hand holds. Never been able to do that before :)
